That doesn't look like any Colt I'm familiar with. It does however look a LOT like a budget-model Italian Uberti worth about $300 tops.

You haven't described all the markings...or if you have, some are missing.

Hey jim thanks for the reply but yeah on the barrel it does say Italian Uberti made in italy or somthing like that?

You need to learn a LOT more about guns in general and Colts vs Italian replicas in particular before you start spending your money.

There is nothing really wrong with Ubertis; they are good guns. But Colts are better; whether they are enough better to justify the higher price is arguable.

But an inexperienced buyer needs to always distinguish between a marking indicating the cartridge and one indicating the make of the gun. That is very common with break top revolvers that say ".32 (or .38) S&W CTG". Many folks think the gun was made by Smith & Wesson and is a CTG model, when in fact .32 S&W or .38 S&W is the name of the cartridge and CTG is simply the abbreviation for that word.

Rem123,

IMHO this is the critical question: why are you buying this gun? Fun casual shooting, competition, collecting, or...?

If we know the answer to this question, perhaps we can give you some pointers. :)
