First time gun buyer in No. VA

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and am planning on buying my first handgun for HD. I've been researching online and have a few I want to look at, but I honestly have no idea where to go to purchase a gun. Are there any other members out there from northern VA who can help me out? thanks!

I've been to all three, but the only place I've purchased a gun is Louden Guns. The folks were nice, and I believe the price I paid was reasonable. No experience with the other two to share.

Where in N. Va are you located?

Also, there is a gun show at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly this friday afternnon, sat and sun. It's a good opportunity to look at a lot of different guns and find one that fits you the best.
 
+1 on the Greentop, one of the best gun shops I've been to. Very good staff. Pretty good prices too. As an additional plus you have the new Brass Pro shop no more than 5-10 min away with a very large selection of firearms.
