First rifle.

Was looking at a bunch of Ars and hell I figured I should probably ask you guys. I want a big boy so I was looking at the .308s. Some buddies of mine go big game hunting frequently up north, bear, elk, deer....

I want something with the looks of an ar-15 but packs a big punch. Something I can take to the range, but also on a nice hunting trip.

Anybody have any experience with the colt 901?

Are there any options a bit less expensive but just as reliable? I'd also like to get a nice high power scope, but the ratio would be tipped spending 2+ grand on the rifle.
 
I dont think the 901 is even released yet, and if it is good luck getting one because theyre prolly back ordered like crazy
 
Dont the rra's only take the fal mags? i think someone said that anyways. and those are supposed to be more expensive or harder to get or something
