My day started out good. I went out this morning and got a decent doe(120-ish lbs). Field-dressed, skinned, and turned into the processor. Spent the rest of the day with my daughter who was with me for the skinning and drop-off. My GF comes home, we eat a nice family dinner.
My dog, 90lbs of arrogant American Bulldog, starts barking, not his usual "let me in guys" or "hey, anybody out there" stuff but his real, deep, diaphram "Get off my turf" bark. I look out the back door and this little Coygirl is in the back of my yard looking at him like "What are you going to do chained-up little man".
Two options:
1. Let him off his chain, let him do his job and protect the house! Well, the vet bills and the pain of both animals not the best option when #2 is handy!
2. Get my M-700SPS and turn it loose, so 165 grains of Hornady later I have my first predator(4-Legged) kill!
