First Glock, how'd I do?

I just got my first glock!! Wanted one for a while. I just decided on the g17. Today I found a second gen, factory re-ferb or re-fab "which ever they called it" with 2 like new or new 17 round glock hi-caps all for $520. so how did I do? Would you have got I over a new one for about $500?

Considering that many Glock factory re-furbs are as good as a new gun, and considering also that pre-ban Glock hi-caps have been going through the ceiling, it sounds like a good deal to me. Besides, I personally prefer the second generation frames anyway, which makes the deal even better. So, I'd have gone the same route. Congrats. :)
 
Sounds like a good deal. About $350 for a refurb model and $75 each for the Hi Cap mags, depending on whether they are Drop free or non drop free type.

You got it for a fair price.

You did pretty good,now go get some 10rd mags for the range. I also like the grip of the older glocks better than the new ones.
