First center fire handgun! (picture heavy)

So I finally managed to purchase my first center fire handgun. It's been a very long time coming, and to say I was excited is a little bit of an understatement.

That said, my poison of choice ended up being a nice little CZ75 Compact 9mm.

I managed to make it out to the range today, and threw 75 rounds down the line.

50 Federal White box 115gr FMJ as well as 25 Blazer Brass 115gr FMJ 20ft/6(ish)yrds away

First target, I was all over the bloody place. I was trying to apply the techniques talked about in this video, and slowly, as I messed around with my grip, the groups started looking a little better.

I've still got a lot to learn, but I'm hoping that I'm on the right track.

You made a great choice going with the CZ Compact. And you did well for the first time out. The only item you may want to consider changing is with the original plastic grips that comes with your CZ. The factory rubber grips are much better IMO.

The 115gr FMJ Blaser Brass gives me some very nice groupings out of my Compact.

Enjoy.

Yay! I love this gun. Except for the SP-01, the original compact 75 is my favorite model of CZ. Good choice! :)

Congratulations!

I have to admit that if I were currently on the market for a new semiauto, that's one of the one's I'd be looking at very hard.

Thanks spats, it's a really smooth shooter, if you decide to pick one up, you won't be unhappy with that purchase :)

The gun certainly is WAY more accurate than I.
