Shot this Cull buck 2 days ago at my ranch here in Texas. Been looking for him for a while now. He has had the same Crab Claws for 2 years now, and hasent gotten any bigger. If anything he has gotten smaller sense last year. Figured it was time for him to go.. If his back G1 Wasn't broken off and was the same length as the other G1 he would have scored a 153 1/8. He was aged right at 4 years old.

Thanks guys. Sorry I didnt have the camera when i took him, Cleaned him and quartered him up at the ranch. Didnt manage to get pics till the next day.

Didn't know deer used duct tape to repair their damaged antlers.....Red Green would be proud. :D

Not sure he's defective on genetics as much as showing damaged/broken tines....one year of stunted growth might be more a feed issue than genetics. Good job.

nice buck

Real nice buck, congrats. One question though, is his cape tucked behind his head or was it damaged in the hunt?

Cull?? Hell I know men that have hunted their asses off for years and years, and would give their left testicle to take a shot at that buck!!

Cull?????

Well there is an old saying about 1 man's junk being another man's treasure...

Based on the way my season has gone, I'd just like to see a cull doe.:(

Sounds like your season is going about like mine. It has been in the 70s here, way too hot for the deer.

The Tape was my Tag just electrical taped to his antler.

I have been watching him sense early 08, He never got any larger. I even have his sheds from both years. They have less mass then this year. Thanks for all the kind reply's

On deer like this i just cut the head and Euro mount them. Alot easier and cheaper.
