First AR revised: COLT, BCM, or STAG

So in my other thread I got a lot of great feedback, including some more suggestions and so I have revised my list. I am now deciding between the COLT 6920, BCM M4 MOD 1, or STAG Model1. I am having difficulty finding a COLT 6920. My local gun shop said all of his distributors are out of them. Do you guys know how long BCM usually takes to ship out their rifles?

If I didn't appeal to Colt so much, I'd pick the Stag Model 1 with the plus package. It's as good as any of the others and has a stellar warranty.
 
I don't know if BCM is selling complete rifles right now, but they ship uppers pretty fast.

I received a BCM upper plus the Bolt Carrier Group, Charging Handle and the fore grip within a week. I ordered on Monday, received one package containing the small items on Thursday and a second package containing the assembled upper on Friday. Good customer service from BCM.

I purchased my assembled LMT lower at a local Gun Show. If you purchase the components like this, don't forget the Magazines & BUIS.
 
yea i ran into the same problem of getting a 6920. put it an order on one on backorder and i was told itll be upwards of 4 months to receive. im patient but not that patient geez
 
BCM's uppers tend to go in and out of stock with relatively little notice. BCM lowers can be had, but I'd check G&R Tactical... they seem to have some more often than not.

Stuff has been moving pretty quick lately, so if you see one you want in stock, jump on it.
 
BCM ships pretty quick. The trick is ordering when what you want is in stock, check their website frequently.

I can't tell you about Colt or Stag products, but I love my BCM/CMMG AR. Pick up the BCM upper of your choice, stick it on a good lower of your choice, and you'll be good to go.
 
I just checked out the sight and ordered a LE6920. Was cheaper than impactguns and i should be getting it around the beginning of next week. Thanks for the website haha
 
I love my stag if it means anything to you. I shoot a lot of cheap steal case and the only malfunction I've had is a dud round.

Is it me or does this rifle seem to be very barrel heavy ?
I mean it seems like it is not very balanced, all the weight is out front in the barrel

my choice is the Colt 6721, easier to find.

the 6721 is a heavy barrel, without the cut in the barrel for a grenade launcher. who needs one ??
 
Really like the BCM and Colt, don't have any experience with Stag. You should also look hard at Daniel Defense and LMT as well. Daniel Defense has outstanding CS.

I'm sure it is very barrel heavy. HBAR stands for heavy barrel- if you pulled the handguards off you'd notice that there's no contouring at all on it, just a thick tube of steel stepping down for the gas block.
 
I own three Stags, one of them has untold thousands of rounds put through it and it will still hold MOA if that means anything.

Stag

I sold the Colt for a nice profit last election year when people were foaming at the mouth for them.

My BCM is my current go to AR as I built it up the way I wanted.

My Stag shoots and holds up just as well as my BCM, can't say enough great things about it.

Don't let people bad mouth Stag either... CMT Stags parent company makes AR parts for more than half the industry.. including parts for Colt and Noveske.. for both civilian and military contracts.

Having had all 3... I would say spend the extra money on ammo or an optic.. and buy a Stag. They can be had brand new for ~$750....
