I checked my firing pin pertrusion and it was .048 then I installed a Tubbs speedlock firing pin and the pertrusion is now .062
I read that the firing pin pertrusion should be between .045 and .050
The only way that I can think of is to chuck up the pin in my lath and file the pin down til I get a pertrusion of .048 what are your suggestions on how to get the right pertrusion????????????????????????????

Mrgunslinger, I differ with whoever wrote what you read. The correct protrusion for CF rifles is .060"-.065" so the Tubbs' length should be fine. George
