Some weeks ago I bought this pistol on Gunbroker. When it arrived it looked almost brand new and I couldn't wait to shoot it.
Yesterday at long last I was able to take it out to the range. The ammo I used was .32 auto PPU, Federal, Fiocchi, and my hand loads. All were satisfactory except for the PPU. They were not powerful enough to cycle the action and 1 out of every 5 rounds resulted in a stoppage.
Fiocchi is the most powerful commercial .32 load available and it was the best load for this particular pistol. At 25 feet I was able to place all hits on a paper plate. I feel this is quite good for a gun of this type and also because I am only an average shot, at best.
The trigger pull was slightly heavier than some of my other ancient pocket pistols but not enough to be bothersome. I simply love these old single stack autoloaders and now have another range toy to fool with. I guess I just lucked out on this purchase.
