For my first pistol, I went cheap. A Firestorm Mini 45 Compact, $190 to be exact. If you're not familiar with it, it's sort of like a Colt Commander. (4.5" barrel, full grip)
Takes high-caps. It came with one high-cap, and I had to buy another that was made for a Llama.
For some oddball reason, the dang thing fails to completely eject the 5th shell with both mags. If I tip the gun to the right and pull the action back enough for the shell to fall out, it'll shoot the last 5 fine.
It does this with both mags.
I use my own reloaded 230gr FMJRN with 6.8gr of Unique. I've run about 200 rounds through it.
Any ideas? I've checked both mags for dents, and they're smooth. However, I do notice I hear the spring making a binding sound in both mags as I load them- both around the 5th shell.
Will this work itself out, you think? Should I try a mag from another type of gun? Hell, maybe for $190, I should count my blessings that it works at all?
