Firestorm in .45 good or just junk?

Saw one selling real cheap at the store It looked like 1911 clone, selling for real cheap $375 NIB does anyone own one of these?

I don't own one, but have shot several, although not enough to have more than a pasing opinion. I liked them fine. Various factory ammo, and all functioned without flaw. I do have, however, a couple of friends who shoot and carry them for self defense. They like them and obviously, bet their lives on them.

Another friend of mine is a former Navy SEAL, two tours in Vietnam, and he carries a Star Firestar 9mm, for self defense. He trusts it implicitly. He's in Kalif., and doesn't give a darn about their Marxist laws.

They will probably be functional, but you could get Charles Daly's for $350. I would choose the CD because it interchanges with all other 1911 formats. The Llama is not an exact copy.

Just a note: the FireStorm and the (Star) Firestars are totally unrelated guns. Nothing in common.

I have two Stars, by the way, and one is an alloy framed Firestar Plus. Great guns.
