Fired a SigPro 2009 today

Went to the range today with my brother and fired his new SigPro 2009, and must say I was impressed. In other threads I have stated my disliking of Sigs because I can't work the decocker without changing my grip, but I was indeed impressed with handling and accuracy of this gun. But I didn't like it better than my 2nd generation G19 that I brought along. :D

I used to have a sigpro in .40 (the 2340), and I liked it a lot. Very sturdy, accurate, ergonomic, and even good-looking for a polymer pistol. Their only drawback is the fact that they're a bit on the large side, being intended as duty pistols for LE. Also, they don't have pre-bans for a sigpro, since it's a post-ban gun. Us civvies will be stuck with ten rounds forever, and the 2009 is a bit on the tall side for a ten-shot 9mm.

Man you are lucky I would love be able to shoot a sig pro. They look great and I hear the shoot even better.

The only reason I said the G19 was better, is because for me it is. Like I said though, it is nice pistol and I wouldn't hesitate to recomend them.

Rob96 - did you notice that on the sigpros they have brought the slide release to the rear of the decocker. On mine the slide release is right where the thumb falls. I like my 2009 so much I am going to acquire a 2340 as soon as the cash makes itself available.

Where can one find spare magazines for these things? My brother and I were combing the gunstores for them but the only thing we were able to turn up were mags for the 2340. Even checked CDNN, the only thing he had were mags for the 2340.
