Firearms in Slow Motion

Wow, fantastic, you did a great job! How did you get that camera? Borrow it? Would love to have one of those. But since they apparently start at around $6K, probably won't be happening any time soon. :)

The slow mo on the AR was particularly good and the AK slow mo was truly fascinating, showing how loose the tolerances are, no wonder the AK can take anything and keep on ticking.

The bull pup design made it look like you were shooting .22LR instead of 5.56.

Love the close up of impact on target too.

You going to be making more slow mo like this?
 
We rented the Sony with the intent of perhaps buying it. We're trying different high speed large sensor cameras trying to find one that works for our needs. We shot more video today that looks amazing, we were still playing with the settings trying to figure the thing out yesterday.

I'll have another video up later in the week with more slow motion footage but the video won't be dedicated to it.
 
I enjoyed it a lot. I was fascinated watching the Benelli bolt carrier bounce a few times (even though the bolt itself locked up).
 
Great video. WhenI first read the post I was thinking "...AK with top cover removed.."
Very cool to see that in slo-mo.
