Firearm information form

I made a quick form to write down information on a firearm regarding make, model, serial, and length (butt-muzzle, barrel). Mostly for insurance purposes. Anyone is free to save the form, print as many copies as you need. I suggest keeping the forms in a safe or other safekeeping, in the chance that a firearm may be stolen.

I'd add Type of Firearm, Date of Purchase, Place of Purchase, and Purchase Price to your form...

I added misc items to mine, such as optics. Many scopes have serial numbers and are worth more than the firearm.

I made a simple spreadsheet in EXCEL. I keep both a paper copy and an electronic copy (thumb drive) in my bank safety deposit box.

Good work, if anyone is interested the ATF web site offers publication 3312.8 which is a personal Firearms Record which has room for 10 firearms

I take pictures of my firearms as well as keeping a list. Close ups of model and serial numbers.
