i am a passionate guy, have been very impressed, and am very enthusiastic with regards to this particular 38 special + P ammo. I have also noticed it is offered in .25 auto, .380 auto, and .44 Remington Magnum.

so what do ya'll think? what are/have been your impressions? how do you like it?

Thanks,

it's loaded with hornady XTP hollowpoints, so it performs the same.

not bad stuff. i like XTP's for 10mm, and HST for 9/40/45.

for 38 spcl, there aren't many jhp's that expand with any sort of consistency. corbon DPX 110 gr +P's do, but they're overpriced, and penetration isn't spectacular.

i'd use a 158 +p lead hollowpoint round in 38spcl myself.

Hello. I have been using Hornady's XTP bullets for reloading 9mm, 38 Super and 45 ACP for years and had excellent results with respect to both accuracy and expansion via informal "tests" and when recovered from animals.

I have used Fiocchi's Extrema only in 9mm and found that velocity is considerably lower than published, which was confirmed via the company when I emailed them concerning it. I cannot comment on the Extrema line of ammunition other than 9mm.

More detailed information is here if interested:

Best to you and yours.
