any good for pistol ammo? i have used the shotgun ammo and it is good but never tried their pistol ammo.

You don't say what caliber, but I shoot their 9mm 115gr at the range and will definitely keep buying it, even over WWB's (which are almost impossible to find now anyway)

I buy mine from Sportsmansguide, btw. Please promise to leave some for me!

My wife's Keltec P32 and Bersa Thunder .380 both love it. Fiocchi makes good ammo, especially in the smaller calibers.

Fiocchi's cool. It's affordable and usually loaded a bit hotter than their competitors'. Their 9X18 is very stout.

I have only tried it in 40, and it jammed every other round.
I have heard good things about it, but I will never buy it again for 40.

Fiocchi Ammo

I used some of their 44 Magnum because I got a good deal on it.It seemed to have hard primers, because I had a number of rounds that needed second strikes in my Model 29-2.This revolver never exhibits any problems with any type of ammo including various reloads.
I tried the same ammo in my Marlin 94PG levergun and it was fault free.

the fiocchi stuff I have tried seemed pretty good.

it also seemed to be a little hotter than typical wwb.

When they first appeared in my area, I purchased a brick of each of their .22 LR. I think I had 4 varities, subsonics, 40 gr, 36 gr. HV, plated etc. don't remember exactly. Used them with my range testing of other .22 ammo and they were OK. I have the targets and notes to compare. as I recall they were about midquality for grouping at 50, 75, and 100 yds. Also used a few in pistol but again nothing special IMO.
However, I did buy a few more bricks of the better types Fiochi of the bunch. Since then, price has gone up (no surprise) so I stick with the favorites for my guns. Have about 6 bricks of assorted left which I shoot a box of 50 sometimes for the fun of testing rds. against rds.

Also have about 500+ rds of assorted .223's but have not fired them yet. Purchased them when on sale more or less to collect the brass for reloading. Some boxes of 50 and some 20/box. Different weights, v-max and other types amound by supply.

If the price is good, I would buy more.

In .223, I would buy more just because they (.223) are geting hard to find.

I've used Fiocchi in .380 FMJ. Dego whop pretty good, but leave a mess behind. After 50 rounds looked like I'd been burning leaves in the chamber. Never a problem though, and when I bought the price was nice.

Its been said, but my .02 cents is that is good ammo. Clean, brass cased, no complaints at all. I have shot it extensively in 9mm and .45 ACP.

Very good ammo. Loaded a bit above average, which can be good or bad, depending on what you're looking for. I also reload their .38/.357 brass several times and it seems to work just fine.
