Finish recommendations

I have a Colt Mark IV series 80 in for service at Colt for a feeding problem. The frame is Armoloy treated. The slide is blue, and has a spot of corrosion (very superficial). Colt will reblue or chrome the slide at my request, but I think there are better options available. Getting the slide Armoloyed is an attractive option, but the only Armoloy treater I am familiar with requires that the parts be shipped to them completely dismantled. I am seeking recommendations for finish options that don't include me or a third party taking the slide apart (or is it all that hard?). A finish which contrasts with the Armoloy (satin grey) would be fine.

TIA,

It's not difficult at all to take the slide apart, the only problem I can see is removing the sights-if you don't have the proper tools. Pretty much can use your hands to tear down a slide-short of sights. I'm partial to hard chrome or blue.
