Finding a 3-inch M27

I've never come across this particular model in the flesh. Should I just continue haunting guns shows or is a there an Internet-based dealer who might have one?

Also, what is your opinion on a used 2.5 inch Model 19? Anything I need to look out for before buying ? (Price is $279, btw). Thanks!

Those 3 -1/2" Model 27's are out there. Try http://www.gunsamerica.com . And bring money. Those 3-1/2" and 5" are less common.

I regularly carry a 2.5" Model 19 in a shoulder holster in the Winter.

I LOVE it. They're wonderful guns, about as perfect as any one gun can ever hope to be, in my opinion.
