Finding .348 brass is impossible!

I've been on the hunt for a few weeks for some of this brass and have come up with 35 casings. LOL Does anyone know somewhere to get it that won't cost me an arm and a leg??

Tried google, armslist, gunbroker..

There is no .348 brass that will not cost you "an arm and a leg". sorry.

Its a niche round, demand is low, production is "seasonal" so price is high, and availability is spotty. (as in rare as hen's teeth )

About 5 years ago, I found some at a gun show, (for a friend who has a .348) as best he can recall, it he got 100 new cases for $60.

It would not surprise me if you find any today to be looking at $1 each, or maybe even more.

My friend tells me that you can form .348 brass from .50-110 cases, which might be easier to find, though I have no idea of the cost involved.

Good Luck.

You might try contacting some of the minor online brass dealers directly such as Precision Once Fired Brass or Elite Reloading. There is also a small outfit in Kansas that sells brass on GunBroker but I can't remember the name. I suspect these folks all have a bunch of odds and ends of brass sitting around but never gather enough to make it worth their while to sell. However, maybe at $1 or more per piece they would be willing to hunt some up from the "back room" for you.

Both Midway and Graf's show Jamison as the only current maker and they're not making any. Supposedly coming to Midway from them in April. Quality is over due. No brass at Buffalo either.
8mm Lebel runs $79.99 per 100 at Graf's. However, it's 8mm Lebel that gets made out of .348. Doesn't appear to be any .348 case forming dies. Parent case is the .50 WCF. Nothing else big enough.
