I've been on the forum for months posting my questions and seeking advice about my first handgun. Well, today I bought a 9mm Shield in fde (black wasn't in stock). It fit great in my hand, fit my budget very well, and the promo only gives me more to look forward to. I am a very happy camper. Thank you all for your input during this process! Gun fever has officially set in!

Now that you have the Shield, all you need is an LCPII for a pocket pistol and then you can buy your first CZ.

I recommend an SP-01...

Congrats on the Shield, it's a fine pistol, and shoots like a much larger handgun. You will love it.

It did take me a few trips before I stopped shooting low and left.

I'm a big fan of colors other than boring black poly. My XDS is a battleship gray. FDE and desert tan are cool as well. Enjoy your shield!.

Next best thing for that Shield is a set of Truglo fiber optic sights, mine has green rear and red front, what a difference in obtaining a quick sight picture. The only obstacle is you must use a sight tool for the rear as S&W puts them in tight.
The Shield is super popular with my friends in all calibers with 9mm being most prevalent.

Now send a lot of rounds down range and come back with a range report after a couple hundred. I love it when a plans comes together!
