I now own a Politically Incorrect Baby Killing Assault Machine Gun.
I've been looking for a plain-jane, standard military-look AK-47 for a while now, and I finally found a specimen that fit the bill.
It's a Bulgarian Arsenal SAR-100, Bulgie milled receiver with US internals and original ex-Soviet AK-47 furniture. It looks as close to a pre-AKM military issue AK as you can come these days without shelling out major dineros for the real deal. I got 5 magazines and a case of Wolf 7.62x39 HP ammo for it, and come Sunday my roomie and I are going out for a rifle shoot at a friend's place. If this thing is as much fun to shoot as her Romak, we'll have a blast with those 30-rounders in the SAR-100.
Part of its appeal is that the liberals hate these things more than any other gun out there.
