Finally have it ordered... VP9

I've been looking for a 9mm for sometime now. Been saving for a lot longer. Taking $20 from cash back and throwing it in a sock drawer until I had what I needed. Then the hunt was on.

I had my eye on a HK P30 due to the grip, but I didn't care for the trigger. Then I found the VP9. Love at first sight! Some research revealed two models: the standard and LE. On average the LE was about $70-85 more but you get a 3rd mad and Mepro night sights. Done. Except none of the gun stores I called in Atlanta and northwest area had any VP9s in stock, let alone the LE. One gun store in Hiram told me they had them on order but it was taking a ridiculous time because for some reason they were stuck at customs during importation. Another store told me HK was mad at the US for selling HKs to Mexico, so they wouldn't be imported until September. I don't know one way or another but I wanted one and I couldn't find one. All the online stores were either out of stock or selling for $720 + shipping + transfer fee. Too much...

Thanks to gunsamerica, I found Scotts Outdoor in Jay, FL. They had 2 LE models for $659 each. With shipping and transfer fee, comes right out to $700. Done! Ordered it while I was between calls at work, haha. Should be at dealer on Monday, hopefully it will be in my hands Tuesday or Wednesday.

The anticipation is killing me...

Great to hear cannonfire!

I LOVE my VP9 and bet you will love yours too. It is a fantastic weapon and such a SWEET shooter.

Thanks. I can't wait. I've heard nothing but good things about it and since I'm much more comfortable with striker fired pistols, I feel it is a win-win

Finally picked it up! The company ended up sending me 6 magazines with the gun, which is of course awesome!! I can't wait to take it shooting on Friday! Work has been hectic so I haven't been able to fool around with different grip options. So excited!

That's an awesome deal; VP9/P30 mags are in short supply and they can cost over $50 each with shipping. So you are at least $200 ahead on the 4 extra mags.
