Finally got the 9mm P239

After looking at these babies for 3 years I finally broke down and got one. One sweet Sig pistol. Should have done this years ago. A little "top heavy", but perfect for non snag CCW.

:)

Took me years to get convinced, too. I wasn't sure about the flat front strap, and it seemed both too big and too small. Bought one (in 9x19) and really love it!

Mine's a favorite too. I have a set of Hogue cocobolo grips on order for it, and am starting to obsessively watch the UPS truck.

The Hogues are well worth. They really improve the "feel" of the pistol (and the looks)--the stock grips are a little too skimpy for me.

I have been looking for one for about 9 months. I had located a nice used gun for $340, but it was stolen when the store was broken into along with all their used guns. The best price I have found NIB is $449, but many are trying to get over $500 for them. I can find the .40 cal for $429, but they won't sell the 9mm for that. Where did you find yours?

Got mine at Virginia Arms in Manassas, VA. This P239 was a little pricey, but Virginia Arms is a great gun shop -- great customer service and a small operation. I am willing to pay a little more to keep such places in business.
