Finally got out to the shed for a bit.

It seems like forever since I have melted anything, but I did make some bullets for my Mauser. I didn't find the mold I wanted, but I did find another NOE and just used that.

and then I cast a pile of 250gr Lee bullets for a buddy who just loves these in his 44.

I intentionally frosted these for a little better powdercoat. It doesn't make the powder cure to the metal better, but I think it lets the dry powder stick to the surface a little better while spraying and as much doesn't blow past it.

'Not sure why the camera decided to put a little different color to em... but I guess it doesn't matter when they are practically black and white anyway.:cool:
 
Doesn't look like you forgot how to pour them, those look nice.;)

I might get out and try a couple of different ones myself sometime this morning. Still not sure just yet though....
 
Got that pan of 8mm checked today. Gonna run em through the lubesizer tomorrow.
