Whoo!! Finally has been the 10 day grace period for me to pick up my first pistol. I cant wait to shoot it! I just thought i would share my excitement and axiousness with you all haha ;)

Yeah in Washington state we have to wait a max of 10 days for a background check to be done. But for a rifle they can call it in and you walk out right then and there with it.
 
I have heard good things about those pistols. It would be nice to see a range report once you get a chance to fire it. Sorry to hear you are in a state with a long cooling off period for gun purchases. I hope that never happens here. What do you think of the different grip options?
 
Mississippi Dave: I love the different grip options. Its an amazing thing to be able to customize the grip to your likeings. Im a tall skinny guy and I have big hands. Its nice to be able to slap on the large grip to fit me and be able to have my finger rest on the finger just right and on the flip side be able to slap on the small grip for my girlfriend so she can shoot comfortably. Its just a really nice added bonus to a fire arm that I've heard nothing but good about.:)
 
I really need to look more into these pistols. I wonder how the perceived recoil is. Polymer pistols can be rather harsh feeling compared to all metal pistols.
 
That's what I've heard about polymer. But havnt read anything about harsh recoil. I will be sure to give my opinion when I hit the range.
 
Hey, Ishyid--a tip for you...

Get a Concealed Pistol License. Then you, too, can purchase handguns at your leisure--and walk out of the store in 5 minutes or less.

BTW, where did you buy it from? What store?
 
Powderman: I purchased it from The Marksman. I am a firefighter so I got the handgun for the military and police price. Which was $449.
