filler screw size??

i have a h&r pardner pump, while cleaning i noticed on top of my receiver that one of the screws were gone that fill the holes for the scope base. what size are the screws, i would like to get a few to have on hand. thanks

One option would be to remove a remaining blind screw and measure it with a pitch gauge. ...... :)

My local ACE hardware store, carries blind screws. .... ;)

Unfortunately hardware stores rarely carry those.
At least I've never been able to find them there.
You might have to order from one of the mail order gun supplies, unless there's a genuine fastener retailer near you.
But they might only sell by the box full.
Better yet, see if you can beg one from your local gun store, especially one that installs scopes and mounts for their customers.
 
You can get them from Brownell's but the cost with shipping adds up. You may want to go with Ebay. The cost of gas alone makes the free shipping nice.

If I had a friendly lgs nearby I would vote for gwilligkers suggestion if only for the excuse to drop buy the store.
