Fiberglass or walnut, stainless or carbon.

I am going to order a Springfield M1A in the near future and I was wondering if some of those out there with experience in such matters could give me advice on the following. Is the loaded version worth it? Should I go with a stainless barrel or carbon, and is the fiberglass stock better than the walnut or vice versa?

Thank you, I appreciate your input.

What do you intend?

Carbon is finicky about weather, but works for most things well. SS can gall or have dissimiliar metal electrolysis.
For harsh outdoor application, SS and synthetic stock is best.
Get the loaded version before it's too late.

Train as you fight. Second place is not an option.

Sorry, the gun will be used for general
purpose target shooting (Just punching paper) and defense if need be.

Thank you.
