I'm looking for a fiber optic sight for my Franchi 612. I read on the back of a package and showed that Benelli, Franchi, etc...... to use the 5/16 sights. Well my Franchi 612's rib is a lot smaller than the 5/16th. What other options do I have? I don't much like the little bead.

What Brand of sight did you look at? Hi Viz or Tru Glo?

How wide is your rib? (Measure width just behind the bead.)

Is the rib aluminum or carbon fiber?

Check out the different sights on Cabela's website. Scroll down, they have one that screws in like a standard shotgun bead.
