Anyone tell me the best way to find out if my property is zoned for allowing firearm sales? I'm in Dallas BTW. I've used Dallas City Hall's search for firearm sales / zoning and got nothing.
I'm not sure if there is such a thing as "firearms" zoning. I think it may depend on whether or not your area is zoned residential or commercial.
Are there any businesses of any kind in your neighborhood?
From looking at the Dallas city website, I'd suggest asking the people at the Department of Code Compliance. They handle the enforcement of zoning ordinances.
The City Building & Permit's office also contains the "Zoning inspector's Office..." Maybe it's the same in your area. If not just call the City Building Inspector's Office, and ask them for the # to the Zoning Inspector's Offices.
