Fess up, guys...after Halloween.

Okay, guys, now that Halloween is over and some of us had to protect the homefront from the big goblins coming to our homes for possible home invasion robberies.

What set up did you have in case some goblin dressed, Halloween III masked wantabee tries to do a trick or treat on you without your permission and they want more than the candies that you were handing out?

Happened to some Korean lady here in soCal. Some disguised BG's got in, pistol whipped the lady, and got money and jewelry.

What did you guys carry or have set up to prevent this kind of "Trick or treating?"

Well, I decided on Halloween to dress up as Sgt. Runt. I had on my cammies, boots, dogtags, mag pouches, and had my USPc in it's holster. So I was open carry - it just all "matched the outfit".

And I had a total of zero kids come to my door.

I think maybe all the TFL "Tupperware parties" here scared them all off?

"No, no sweetie, that's where those weird gun people live. They might give you ammo instead of candy!"

I was wearing a 9x19 pistol (and an extra mag for a total of 37 rounds of +P+ ammo), sitting in an easy chair reading while my wife dealt with the little darlings at the front door across the living room.

They were all very cute.

I had the greatest of victories--I won by not fighting. Went out for Indian food with the young & nubile! Beats a Snickers bar and clears the sinuses.:D

I was protected by a bunch of rent-a-cops as I had to work that night. My house was protected by an alarm system and a furry four-legged fireball.

One nice thing about working halloween....since I didn't pass out any candy, I now have a great selection to munch on for a while.

ksfreeman - I caught up with you, I had indian food Saturday and again yesterday (twice).

Happy Diwali, everybody! (We need an desi icon with a dot between its eyes!)

I was carrying concealed, as I usually do. When I took the kid out I also had my big flashlight and my pepper spray.

Halloween in our area seemed much more subdued this year than in past years.

G27 IWB, Bulgarian SLR-100 ready to go in the back room. Wore my normal clothes.

We got lots of kids. Biggest thing that happened? Girlfriend caught one of the little bastards putting out a candle on our walkway. The kid was surprised and said "I'm BUSTED :( " She said "naw... I was just going to put them out anyway." Good lady. His buddies ahead of him turned back and said to him "duuh... why are you so stupid?"

This was a 4th grader or so - dressed as a male stripper of all things. HAHAHA.

All's well that ends well ;).
