The more things change, the more they stay the same.
All of the gaming boards are full of gaming geeks who can hardly fathom the idea of a woman who plays computer games - why should the gun world be any different?
My wife is pretty good at Quake and knows how to shoot - but she has other interests that she would rather be doing.
A lot of guys think they want a woman who is into what they are into so they will be able to do what they do as much as they want.
There are about 100 things more important than merely having a hobby in common.

My wife would never call herself a shooter and I do have to drag her to the range (only because her fun time is limited and it is low on her list) but the other day she asked me if she could join the NRA - since she felt it was important to "be counted". God I love her.
