:eek: Yesterday, taking typical advantage of the weekend, Sen. Diane Feinstein again introduced a bill to ban so-called "assault weapons".
The story is at the NRA's "ILA" website, and is being discussed even now at http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1148044/posts, on FreeRepublic.com.
I just signed on here today, and I'm quite impressed by the site. I'll be returning often. However, since the graboids are once again afoot, I felt it necessary to get the word out. Please post the story to any gun boards you know...they are expectin us to not notice, as it is a weekend.
If the Senate's and Houses' inboxes and answering machines are jammed come Monday, they might begin to get the message.
We have a real chance this year to actually see a gun-control law DIE. Only if we make our voices know will it do so.

I sent e-mails to my senators, and will call their offices on Monday. By the way, the following is a TOLL FREE NUMBER for Capitol Switchboard. 1-800-839-5276. The ladies who usually answer the phone ask which congressional office, either House of Senate, you want to speak with, and they put the call through.
 
I'd send an email to my Senators and Congressman but they ARE Dianne Feinstein, Barbara Boxer, and Jane Harmon!! Yikes!! I mean COME ON!! Aren't they the Politburo Pinups or what?! :eek:

I called my Senators. instructed them to fillibuster S. 2498. As they are both RINOs I suspect they won't listen.
