Can someone tell me the difference between a FEG and a Firestorm 22lr auto. Thought one would be a fun plinker. Are they the same thing just imported by someone else? I tried a serch...but it be down. thanks

I really doubt the FEG and Firestorm are the same gun, but I'd need a model number...

FEG is a Hungarian company, and I was under the impression that the Firestorm guns were made in Spain. I went to the Firestorm web site, and I don't see a .22 there, are you sure you're talking about that brand?

There is a .22lr in the stable for each. I called Firestorm after seeing one on Gunbroker.com. They said they do make one, it's not on their web site yet.

I have the FEG SMC-22 and i doubt its the same as the Firestorm unless Firestorm contracts with FEG to build them.My SMC-22 is a nice, well built .22lr and loves Remington golden bullets up till 150 rounds when it starts resisting going into battery.I believe this problem will be solved by the use of dry lube in the chamber area.

The SMC 22 from FEG is hungarian produced..the Bersa or Firestorm isnt. They are similar sized and styled but thats it.
Both are patterend after the infamous Walther style and that
makes them an attractive gun, in size and weight.

Shoot well
