FEG hi-powers?

Any one have any comments of these? Saw a great deal on them and was wondering if they where a decent gun. do parts interchange with a FN and do they take the same mags? Are they worth 189 bucks as that price makes me wonder about a pig in a gun poke. :) :)

I have nothing but positive things to say about mine. The price was right, it had descent sights, and it doesn't jam. With a trigger job and grips it is a keeper. I think all High-Power parts can be used after fitting as the FEG is not an exact copy. Regards, Richard.

Radom, If you have large hands be sure to spend some time handling the FEG before buying. I found my FEG PJK HP-9 to have a shorter frame/grip than the HPs I have handled. The shorter grip causes my little finger to apply preasure on the toe of the mag which then causes the magazine safety to safe the trigger. Other than that, and the fact my PJK doesn't like Wolf 115gr FMJ (fte), I find my FEG accurate and reliable. HTH.

Thanks for the info guys. :) :)At the price I am thinking about ordering one of them. The FNs seen to start at 300 bucks and are probably in rough shape vs a FEG for 190 bucks..

I have a friend with a Feg HP, and it is surprisingly nice. Accurate, and reliable. He has shot mostly ball ammo but no malfunctions. He also had a trigger job done for something like $40 or so, and put a Houge rubber grip. But other than that it is as factory. For the $ I can't think of anything better in that particular niche.
