Anyone know what dealer cost is on these? (Arsenal is out of Houston and bought a large quantity of these according to a friend.)

Thanks

Tracer,

I just bought one locally for $240.

Be advised that the new matte finish FEG (PJK-9HP) uses a different lockup system than the HP, and is no longer a true clone.

Strangely enough, the model number didn't change from the previous blue HP clones?

Was it the Parkerized finish,as opposed to traditional bluing? Was the new series trigger in need of work?
Thanks

I believe the original came in blued and parkerized models, but mine is dull matte black, and can be easily distinguished from the originals, once the preservative oil is removed.

Don't know if the trigger system has changed, but I suspect not.

It still comes with a magazine disconnect that I haven't removed, but intend to remove in the near future.

I haven't shot it enough to determine the accuracy, but the first trip to the indoor range was very encouraging, and produced a tight five shot group, with three of the bullets in one hole, at 30 feet from a rest.

If your looking for a proven product, with good reliability and accuracy, and full HP parts compatibility, I'd advise picking up one of the previous models, until the jury is in on this one.

Of course for the price you won't be out much on a new model, if it doesn't prove out. FEG does have a good reputation, so I doubt they would release something they haven't tested.

Good luck,

Bill

As a hungarian I always feel strange when I hear positive things about FEGs. :) What they sell here for the police, military, or the civil market is nothing but problem. I think they have quality control only for the export stuff...
