FEG BHP Question

I am very excited about picking up my FEG 9mm High Power today. One quick question... I noticed that the grip on this gun has 3 finger grooves in the front. I am referring to the frame portion, as the grips are checkered wood (original?) Is this normal on the FEG version or is there another explanation? Thanks!

the PJK 9HP is the true Hi-Power Clone , the one with the finger grooves is a double action with a slide mounted safty/decpocker like a smith and wesson 59 series auto if I recall...

Anyone else?

Ledbetter,
Maybe I misunderstood your reply, but I looked at the picture of the P9R and it appears to have finger grooves. If you are right, I makes me wonder what I bought. The id on the slide says FEG on it. It has the wood grips like the B9R on the web site you published.

Greetings customline,

It would be easier to understand if it weren't in Hungarian, eh?

Also go here:
http://www.geocities.com/Pentagon/1665/INDEX.HTM

and here:
http://www.fegyver.org/ismertet/feg_gunz.html

The confusion stems from the fact that there's the FP9, the P9R, the P9RZ, the P9RK, etc.

By the way, I am selling my P9 because the trigger pull never improved from new. It is quite stiff. There was a recent thread on The Smithy about improving it by removing the magazine safety.

Regards,

Ledbetter

Regardless of which model you actually bought, if you like it as much as I like my PJK 9HP, you are going to be very happy.

I just went to the FEG website. Is that ACK what I think it is? A .45 cal HP clone. Is it a single stack or double. Inquiring minds want to know. I want one!
