Feg .45

I have a chance to buy one of these at a reasonable price. I understand people like the small FEG products, but has anyone tried the big frame .45 ACK? Sorry if this is an old question, but the search function is down.
 
I have never shot one, I have handled them and they seem crude but everything I have read says they do work. The FEG would have to cost about $150 to ever get my interest. If the Feg is $250+ look at a used Ruger P97, P90 or used S&W 457. This is just my opinion. Regards, Richard
 
THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE FEG THEY ARE GOOD GUNS AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE.THEY HAVE BEEN MAKING FIREARMS FOR MANY YEARS. BEFORE THE FALL OF THE SOVIET UNION THEY WHERE MAKING WEAPONS FOR THE WARSAW PAC NATIONS. SOME OF THE BEST AK 47 RIFLES COME FROM FEG. I HAVE A FEG PJK 9 HP 9mm HI POWER CLONE AND THE THING SHOOTS FLAWLESSLY AND NEVER MISSES A BEAT.
 
BY THE WAY AS FOR THE RUGER P97 I HAD # 663-xxxx AND IT WAS THE WORST THING I EVER FIRED NOT ONLY WAS IT INACCURATE IT FELT LIKE I HAD A 2x4 IN MY HAND AND THE LOW GRADE STAINLESS STEEL SLIDE STARTED TO RUST.:rolleyes:
