FEG 380 ?

I had one

They're fine pistols. PPK clones that can fit well in all but the tightest jeans. Mine outshot my Sig 232 on it's first outing. I was shocked. My 232 makes me look good. That FEG made me look better. Why don't I own it anymore? Like a true PPK, it sliced me up pretty good with slide bite. If I thought about it while shooting I could avoid it. But you can't think about the perfect grip in a SD situation. Well made guns though. I have one of their Hi-Power clones. It was supposed to be a "hold me over until I can afford a real one" gun. Turns out it shot so well that I had it hard chromed by Mahovsky and put a Sprinco buffer in it. Needless to say, it's my favorite carrier and I'm not looking for a Browning anymore!

I purchased mine on GB and was elated to find the sellers "good" condition was actually new in box. The pistol is beautifully finished and although a bit barky with it's lightweight frame is accurate and reliable. I do not carry the SMC but it would make an excellent CC pistol. You will not go wrong with this purchase on an A+ firearm.

My understanding is that they're not true PPK clones – they're better characterized as lookalikes.

Notably, the FEGs have separate grip panels with a metal backstrap like a Walther PP or PPK/S, rather than wraparound plastic grips like a PPK. There seems to be some dispute as to the degree that other parts will interchange, but most authorities seem to agree that the FEGs are different in other respects.

I had the slightly larger version, and it was great. My FiL got it away from me somehow.

I also have an FEG High Power clone. It is excellent.

IMHO, they made good guns.

Mags are available, I have a half dozen, make sure you get one for an SMP (6) round and finger grip not the longer one for a PA 63.

I got the pistol today and it is in excellent condition, very little slide wear, and the bluing on the slide is like new. Very happy with the condition, just have to run some ammo through it! terry:D

Hope you enjoy your SMC 380 as they are well made using a combination of Walther PP and PPK design, just expect a bit of sting in your palm for the first few shots then it seems to be forgotten. I have shot brass FMJ exclusively and never experienced a malfunction do not know how it would perform with HP or steel cases.

As a previous poster stated, they're not true clones; They have some minor mechanical internal differences that. in my opinion, are improvements over the original Walther design.

Some parts (not all) will interchange with a Walther, but they generally need a little bit of fitting to work.
