Feedback on Standard Trigger Pull for Ar15,Mini 14,AK,M14....

I've seen a few threads recently about trigger pull on rifles. I think my Mini 14 has the easiest trigger pull out there. When I shoot my SKS and then my Mini 14 there is a world of difference. I've found that I shoot a lot better with the Mini 14 just because of the ease of the trigger. I'm still undecided on a next rifle to get but I'm curious what the common trigger pull weight for all of the popular semi auto's out there? Is this too broad of a question?
1)FAL
2)AK's
3)SKS
4)AR's
5)Mini 14
6)M1A
7)M1 Garand
8)M1 Carbine

How about "mediocre"? Look. They're all assembly-line or mass-produced. Lotsa creep, four- to six-pound pull, if not worse.

A better question might be which of them are the easiest for a gunsmith to make reasonably good without replacement with an after-market trigger.

Box-stock, the M1A might be the best. I know the Garand isn't hard to improve. The GI Carbine shouldn't be.

The AR? See my thread about Bushmaster info.

Actually Art your thread was the catalyst to this one. I have a Winchester Model 70 rifle and after shooting about 40rds out of it I get worse and worse because of the trigger pull. I like my SKS but the trigger pull is too much to be consistent. I've seen the M1A trigger pulls vary from 4 to 6lbs. I'm actually leaning towards the FAL more than the M1A. Do you know what the Standard Trigger pull on a Mini 14 is?

akkk!

My SKS has about the worst trigger I've ever seen. Next is my HK. All of my ARs have either JPs or Jewells in them. Put a Jewell in my mod 70 also. Needless to say, I'm spoiled ;)

Just for you, SodaPop, just for you: Just happen to have a buddy's statinless Mini-14 in the safe. Just now went out and got it out, and got out the little spring-scale dealie I use to check this sort of thing.

Mini-14: Just over five pounds. 5-1/4, +/-. The good part is that it isn't creepy. The sear engagement isn't some gigantic number, and it breaks reasonably cleanly. About what I've noticed on the four Minis I've owned.

Hokay?
