I went to Cabelas today to pickup some stuff. When I went to look at slugs they were running a sale. Five Federal (???-shock) slugs were $2.99 vs. five Winchester Double X slugs for $4.99. All were 12ga. 2 3/4 with 1 oz lead.
Now I know without testing at the range you don't know, but how is .20 per slug for the Winchester justified? I ended up buying a different Winchester (Power Point) slug that was $6.99 for ten. Which they were promoting as more accurate, and higher velocity, than the other Winchester five pack. So a better Winchester at a cheaper price? Why so much difference in pricing inhouse and against the competion?
Thanks in advance.
