Federal Arms barrels

Does anyone have any experience with Federal Arms barrels? I want to put on in my Glock 21 but I want it to be a quality piece.

Thanks in advance.

If you're gonna get an aftermarket barrel, fork out the $ for Bar-Sto.

There is a decent review of the federal arms barrel in a glock 357sig located at www.gunweb.com The test compares the Federal, Bar-Sto, and I believe the Jarvis barrel. Check it out.

Although I don't own a Federal barrel, lots of good posts are evident on Glocktalk, regarding their use in Glocks. Call JR, at Lonewolf Distributors. He's great to work with, and if you don't like the barrel, he'll make it good. Bar-Sto probably is the best. It's probably also not just going to drop in and you'll have a pretty long wait, unless you order one from Brownell's or somebody else who stocks 'em.

I bought a ported barrel for my Beretta. Works better than factory. I think they are cheaper than the others because very little work went into finishing the exterior.

I agree with the others though, Bar-sto is the best. I just couldn't justify the extra cost on this particular gun.
