Federal 209 versus 209A

I have read several threads saying that you should reduce the powder charge by one grain when using Federal 209A primers with 209 loads.

Does it also follow that since most current loading tables list only 209A can I ADD (increase) the powder by one grain to the 209A values if I am using up my old 209's?

It would sound that way, but what I'd do if I couldn't find Federal 209 data is use W209 data.
