Fed. ex man :(

I ordered some wood grips and spare mags from kahr last week,
fed.ex man just came with a package from kahr, I get all jacked thinking to myself *great service that was fast* :D

I open the box, one mag and a backorder slip for the grips. that just plain sucks.. :barf:
 
Would it have been better had they not sent the magazine?:rolleyes: They responded in a timely manner with what they had and that sucks?:confused: If you say so.
 
Whenever I order anything from any company, I always ask whether my intended purchases are in stock. If they're not, I don't place the order, since lots of companies charge you twice for shipping two orders, and anyway, "We expect it in by Tuesday," often means I won't see it for six months. Companies that don't give me straight answers don't get my dollars.
 
I love it.

If I remember correctly the Mk-9 woods seem to be on backorder often, I do rember sombody else posting about waiting for their woods from kahr.

This post is not a flame to kahr, I was happt to see my order just dissapointed my grips we not includded :(

WOW... I just got my wood grips today. ordered them on 5/13/02

Long wait, but they are very nice and are a definite improvement over the plastic in grip-ability and looks.. :D

How thick are they compared to the black plastic ones?

Do they make the grip any thicker? If so is it enough to make them less comfortable to carry IWB?

They shipped both items via fed-ex.

I have not seen a bill yet so I don't know if they charged me 2x for shipping, both orders only had a packing list.

I will be disapointed if they charge me 2x for fed-ex shipping :eek:
