Feather: A New rifle

Just curious to find if anyone here has ever fired a "Feather" carbine. My brother is infatuated with this new weapon and is seriously thinking of buying one. I'm confident that someone out there will be able to give me an expert assessment. It shoots .45 acp, 9mm, and will even come out with a .22lr version. You can even get these in PINK! (Think about that at the range!!) Anyway, any infor will be appreciated, as always.

The Feather AT9 and AT22 are both fun little gems... decent accuracy and reliability for camping/plinking chores.
I've fired both and found them to be interesting... a lot of potential... but lacking for serious duty.

Does Feather have a website or a catalog? All internet searches ever turn up (for Feather Industries) is a pillow company in Canada....

BTW, www.featherusa.com turns up a 404 error. If that WAS the website, it's not anymore...

Yep, Featherusa.com was the website a couple of days ago. I know because I went there to check things out myself.

We ordered the literature over the phone and should have it in a couple of days. When he gets it, I'll try to provide more info.

The whole thing with this rifle is that you can shoot it in a pistol range because it uses pistol ammo. The places were we are able to shoot rifle are very sparce in southern New England. We do belong to a range that has a 100yd indoor rifle range but it's only open one night a week. So, the pistol range would work great although is pretty short. Frankly, I'm not a big fan of some of these "modern" weapons. They don't have a "soul": kind 'a like comparing an old '60s Mustang to a new Toyota, 'ya know?

I'll keep you all posted.

Talked to a "feather guy" (mumble for name) at a gun show a few back (mfg facility's in Eaton, CO) and handled his personal 12" bbl, 22 mag rifle. (Thinking that would be a great turkey shooter.)

They do have full-radii'd match grade bbls & quite a few accessories available. Wonder if they have a supressor license ....

I like the whole concept all-in-all but didn't get to try out trigger pull, etc. & no idea of the cost. Looks to be a very handy truck0gun package.

featherusa.com is (was) their site ....

The price for this carbine is only around $550 which includes all the accessories! All in all a pretty complete package. Thanks for the info.
