Favorite Holster

I am "left handed" and want to ask The Forum a question.

What's your favorite holster for a Glock19 for everyday carry.

I live in a state where you must wear your weapon concealed. As always, all answers from everyone is welcome and appreciated

Not a south paw my self but for carrying a 19 my two faves are a cross breed super tuck IWB and an RVA concealment OWB in kydex. Both are very nice to carry in.

For now I bought a DESANTIS INSIDER GLK 19/23/36 LH BLK. for my Glock 19.

I've never bought a high end holster yet, so after this and I know what I'm doing, I'll spend some $$$ on a great holster.

Thanks

I'm a little late to this party, but I'll also throw out the Crossbreed Supertuck as an awesome holster for a G19. I've been using one for about 3 years now.

With that said, if I remember correctly, Doc, you're in FL. One of the holsters I've had my eye on for summer use is something from StealthGear. Their "Ventcore" line of holsters might be pretty comfy in that FL heat and humidity.

I've come to prefer my (amateurish) copy of the VMII, but with a bit more cant and the back configured with the suede side toward the body; this is probably because I wear them more at 4:30 than 3:30, like most people do:

Buy a couple sheets of Kydex and watch a few YouTube videos on making holsters. Check out pictures of IWB or OWB holsters for ideas and put something together. Be sure that it's truly operational before you venture out in public, but it's quite easy to make a very functional holster that fits your needs. It might take some tweeking to get it the way you want it, just take your time. I've made IWB holsters for several of my pistols that may not be photogenic quality, but fit well and hold my pistol at the right angle, shield the trigger, and are quite secure.

left or right

I'm not sure what left or right has to do with it......unless it's availability. Won't matter in my suggestion anyhow.....the Glock Sport Holster, the space plastic, canted number, is my favorite Glock holster, and it's ambidextrous. Affordable....you can buy several and cut the tabs to fit different dress belt sizes. I buy the larger model that's intended for the G20/21 family, but carry all my Glocks, to include the 17 and 34, in the same large rig. Works fine. Durable, pistol seems as snug as ever, no indication the belt loops will quit soon if ever. Carries well for me too.

For my G22 and G36 IWB carry the Crossbreed Supertuck is a very comfortable holster. Get the horse hide it's worth it. Crossbreed customer service is excellent also.
I have a Tucker OWB for a Steyr S9 that is also very nice.

I don't carry my G19 everyday, but I have bought a holster for it if I ever decide to do that. I went with a N82 Tactical Original Compact. They're the most comfortable holsters I've ever worn. The two potential issues are that because the holster is made of something like neoprene, once you draw your gun, the mouth of the holster collapses, making re-holstering a two-handed affair. And with the Original holster, there's no adjustment possible either to ride height or cant once it leaves their shop. The Pro series is adjustable.

If I wanted a holster to do double duty as a training/CCW holster, I'd look into Crosssbreed, Aliengear, Wilson, or Kramer.

I am an OWB kind of guy and I really like the Bianchi 125. I like the snap loops and I have found these work great with my P2000s as well.

They aren't sexy. They aren't expensive but I have been using a couple for years and they have been great. Fit tight to the body, easy on easy off and durable.

I've owned some higher end stuff but I like these crappy 125s the most. :)

Kramer sharkskin belt holster. Stays tight to my body and had kept it's form for 15 years with lots of use. It doesn't look all that fancy but I really like it....and I have rolled around on the ground with it and my pistol has stayed put.
