Favorite Gunshop in Waldo, FL

Coupla years ago, I bought a Herman Schmidt Manufactured and G.E. Rose imported 1873 Clone in .357 at a little shop in Waldo, FL. Happened to be driving through and spotted the shop. Was quite happy with the deal. Still have it and like shooting it.

Was in FL this last week and stopped at the shop again. His stock is down and it appears he is trying to close it down. He is doing some good deals and those of you who are close may want to try to cash in.

Only thing he had that I wanted was an ASM manufactured CVA 1860 Army in .44.

This revolver has a steel frame and case hardened finish is still very good. Has screws for a stock, but no stock. Sight is missing and there are some marks on the barrel lug where someone figured that the best way to get the wedge out of the lug is to use a lug wrench. Pistol appears to be fired very little or maybe none at all.

He wanted 130.00 for the pistol, but was willing to take the 110.00 I offered. I have a sight for it.

Just put the sight on...

I had a sight for the 1860 which fits perfectly.

Pressed it in and now the revolver is complete.

I love it when a plan comes together.

Photos at eleven.

Ha,
no speeding ticket for me in Waldo EVER, nor Lawty. I drive 40 all the way through there. I go up to Jacksonville regularly, so I know where all the "good guys" are hiding. :p
