Favorite factory .44 mag for deer?

What's your favorite .44 mag factory load for whitetail deer? Preference for JSPs or JHPs? Different preferences when using a rifle/carbine instead of a revolver?
 
From the factory my favorite is the Hornady 300 gr. XTP. Yes, it's more than enough power for deer but it is extremely versatile and recoil is still very manageable. Have used these on black bear, boar, and deer. The XTP bullets have performed just as advertised and held together and all have exited, even after hitting the boar in the shoulder. Very accurate as well.
 
I have had some trouble with the hornady 300gr jhp expanding, most of the time it acts like a fmj. For deer I prefer a good 240gr jhp, or a heavy, flat nosed hard cast. Anything bigger then deer, go with the hard cast.
