Faster rate of fire?

I read an article that said something about older pump actions firing faster than new autoloaders because the older pumps didnt have a trigger disconnector. I was wondering if you can remove the trigger disconnector from a newer pump allowing it to fire faster(SPAS style:) :) ) thanx

Actually a disconnecter equipped gun is just as fast, (As proven by exhibition shooters) and a whole lot safer and more accurate.

While blowing off a magazine by holding the trigger back and pumping the gun looks "way Kool", you won't hit anything at all, and it's hard on the gun.

No modern shotgun can be easily modified to eliminate the disconnecter, and this is a deliberate move by the makers.

If you want a non-disconnecter gun, you'll have to buy an older gun that was made without one.
