Our 308 prototype is off to the machine shop for the first round of revisions.

Why did people hate on you so much Boxy? You did no one no harm!

New Additions:

Fully Integrated JP Enterprise (large profit) muzzle break with matching "port-out" plates on the shroud.
Reconfiguration of the picatinny rails so we can move to a CAA side mount bipod setup.
Less Box More Octagon'ish
Very slight cut down in the dimensions (about 1/2" over all, not much)

Since you have so much space in the box, and weight doesn't seem to be an issue...

I think you should add a water cooling system and storage areas for a bunch of mags. 10 or so should fit easily.:)
 
We've juggled all kinds of ideas. Those two had been brought up.

And some insults from the various trolls across the internet even spawned the idea of us considering a patent for the "Hot Pocket Battle Dispenser". I mean yea it was an insult, but think about it; as you shoot the barrel becomes super heated and cooks your hot pocket. Its brilliant!

What soldier could refuse the ability to dispense and eat a hot pocket while pinned down in a hollowed out building by militants?

In extreme cases following a zombie outbreak it could be used as a very efficient blunt weapon.

The possibilities are endless if given enough R&D and funding!
 
You are looking at shooting in Open Class for benchrest comps?? I think 30 lbs is out of the class, but you never know.

At the moment we are just building it for fun.

But there are 'Unlimited Class' matches which are pretty much "anything goes" from my understanding.
